Our Story
Australian Enviroblast was founded in 2009 by Mark John Chiappin, whose journey began not in a large workshop or corporate office, but on the country roads of South Australia. Long before Australian Enviroblast became the company it is today, Mark was personally completing line removal and surface preparation projects throughout regional Australia. He did everything himself, preparing equipment, travelling long distances, carrying out the work, maintaining his machinery, and cleaning up at the end of each day.
Like many small business owners, the early years were far from easy. There were times when cash flow was so tight that, after his bank card was declined, Mark had to borrow money from his brother simply to buy enough fuel to finish the day's work and make it home. Rather than letting those setbacks define him, they fuelled his determination to build a business founded on hard work, resilience, honesty, and integrity.
Mark's vision was never simply to create another abrasive blasting company. From the very beginning, his ambition was to build Australian Enviroblast into one of Australia's leading and most respected surface preparation and protective coating contractors. He understood that this could only be achieved through hard work, continuous improvement, investing in people, and never compromising on quality. Even today, he believes there is always room to improve and continues to challenge the business to raise the standard in everything it does.
Throughout that journey, one principle has never changed:

From those humble beginnings, Australian Enviroblast has grown into a trusted specialist in environmentally responsible abrasive blasting, protective coatings, corrosion remediation, and asset preservation. Today, Australian Enviroblast is a PCCP Accredited Contractor, supported by AMPP/NACE Certified Coating Inspectors and licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). While we never claim to be the best, we strive every day to be among the very best by continually improving our people, our technology, and the service we provide to every client. Although the company has grown significantly since 2009, the values that built Australian Enviroblast remain unchanged: hard work, integrity, innovation, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to protecting Australia's critical assets while creating opportunities for others.
